Editor’s Notes: Feet deserve a runner’s high. That’s why Adidas created Boost HD: to provide greater stability with the same unparalleled responsiveness and comfort. It is a new version of the best technology.

The Pulseboost HD is sitting on an all-new Boost HD midsole that connects you more to the floor. These shoes are ready for the unexpected. Stopping suddenly, dodging an obstacle or quickly changing direction on a busy street is no longer a problem thanks to the new set of performance advantages for runners.

Another new feature is a rubber outsole, the Continental Adaptive Traxion, that was developed by Artificial Intelligence and which provides the optimal grip to quickly change direction on any surface, whether dry or wet. Adapt Knit is a new exterior that adapts to any foot shape and gives runners a customized fit immediately.

To create Pulseboost HD, Adidas started by analyzing each of the aspects of running in the city, mainly the position of the foot. For example, runners use the forefoot more than the middle of the foot. Then they used the computational design and (most importantly) the knowledge and perspective of urban corridors to create Pulseboost HD. This is not a product made by Adidas, it’s a shoe created by the urban running culture.

New shoes. New tracks. In association with Spotify, Adidas placed a QR code on the tab that links directly to a custom playlist based on where you are in the world, to make sure each runner is ready for action. You just have to scan the code with a mobile device to open Spotify and unlock an exclusive music list.
